Chromat

Recognized within the brand as the original "Chromat Babe," I played a foundational role in shaping Chromat's early visual identity and storytelling. My contributions spanned fashion showcases, styling, and promotional strategy during a formative period for the brand, helping establish its reputation and creative influence well before the rise of social media influencer culture.

AW13: SUPERSTRUCTURES

Chromat's first New York Fashion Week presentation debuted in 2013 with the AW13 Superstructures collection, staged at Industria. The collection drew on mathematical principles, including hyperboloid forms, and referenced the work of 1960s Futurist architects: Superstudio's monolithic grid structures and Archigram's speculative visions of future cities.

SS14: MATHLETES

For SS14 Mathletes, Chromat staged a hybrid presentation and runway show at the Out Hotel. The collection featured activewear, caged-out caps, custom Chromat platform shoes, and powder-coated steel cages, all built around the theme of competitive mathematics. References ranged from team uniforms and sports jerseys to the athleticism and intellectual discipline associated with NASA astronauts.
